Long Prairie hosts special events throughout the year that would please and enhance your tour group.  A large Craft Show is held during the Thanksgiving Weekend.

Long Prairie has so much to offer with diversity to meet the expectations of all. If it's culture your group desires, the Prairie Players will perform. It may be history, thus a visit to the Museums, Veterans Memorial Park, or a stroll along Central Avenue with its many historic buildings. A drive through the residential area will prove very interesting with several homes over a century old, while new developments have also arisen throughout the community. Want to see a rural setting, a trip to watch the collecting and making of maple syrup will delight your group! Does your group love gardening and flowers, then don't miss the Japanese Gardens. What have we missed? Check the itineraries and you will find hidden treasurers right in the heart of Central Minnesota.
